How does the process work?

When you reserve your 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef package we will inform you of processing schedule. We work with you to customize the cuts you desire and deliver your beef to you, you pay based on final processed weight delivered to you.

How much beef do I get in 1/4 or 1/2 beef package?

Our 1/4 beef packages typically yield about 125lbs after final processing and packaged beef, while 1/2 beef yields around 250 lbs. These weights are what you should expect to receive when we deliver to you.

How much freezer space do I need?

1/4 beef can usually fit in a 7 cu ft freezer, while a 1/2 beef package may require as much as 15 cu ft of space depending on desired cuts.

How do I know what cuts of meat I will get?

We work with you to customize and ensure you get the cuts that you want. Only when ordering a 1/4 beef do we balance your request with the request on the other 1/4 (making up 1/2 side beef).

Do you use hormones or antibiotics?

Our commitment to raising cattle responsibly means we do not use hormones or antibiotics on the cattle we process and deliver to you.

Who do you use for your meat processing?

We use a Texas state inspected facility nearby to our ranch location. We handle all communications with processor to make it easy on you.
